While in Paris
Eat
If you want to enjoy a good Parisian breakfast with the best baguette in town - check out those places:
It's no secret that the food we like the most is Asian. Last time we stayed in Paris we really enjoyed this lovely simple Cambodian Restaurant:
And if you're like us, enjoying Asian cuisine even in the heart of Paris, check out this list of Asian restaurants, now now part of our list of places to go to.
Do
If you are going to stay at the 3rd quarter of Paris, you should definitely explore Pompidou Centre, which houses many fascinating exhibitions and galleries, including the Musée National d'Art Moderne, the largest museum for modern art in Europe. There are plenty of activities going on there but August’s events are not yet published. We encourage you to continue visiting our wedding site as our wedding day gets closer for more details on this. If you want to have some time to relax and enjoy the European summer, we highly recommend taking a break at the Luxembourg Gardens (located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris). Students go there to study for their courses, neighbors go for a stroll and, like with all great places in Paris, there are always plenty of tourists. But despite its popularity, the Jardin du Luxembourg is plenty enjoyable and a welcome relief from the crowded Parisian streets. Bring with you a box of macaroons and maybe a bottle of wine and you'll feel like you've reached Heaven.
Everyone knows we're not big museum fans but if you still want to check them out, go to Hotel des Invalides .This complex of buildings was once a hospital and retirement home for war veterans. Today, most tourists visit to view the burial site of Napoleon Bonaparte, though if you’re a history or war buff you’ll find plenty else to there that will entertain you. Also, of course, don’t forget the famous Louvre, where we expect to see many of you waiting in line to catch a glimpse of the tiny Mona Lisa.
Shop
Doron likes to do his shopping at Aliexpress.com and Yam... well, Yam doesn’t know what shopping is (unless he goes with aunt Ava or his mum). HOEWEVER, we couldn't have missed the many tiny boutique shops in the 4th and 3rd quarters. The trendy design and fashion-designer stores in those districts have given the Marais its avant-garde reputation. It is a pleasant place to stroll around. Several main streets such as the rue des Rosiers are pedestrianized and are really a must to all shopping addicts.

When greeting people, the formal titles (Monsieur, Madame and Mademoiselle) are used much more in French than in English. The laws of vouvoiement (which version of “you” to use) take years to master. If in doubt – except when talking to children or animals (we know you do) – always use the formal vous form (second person plural) rather than the more casual tu.
